A month that flew by (March 2026)

Hei alle sammen!
I will probably say this every month, but March went by very quickly. And when I look back at everything that happened, it maybe explains why!
Outside of my regular weekly tasks, this month was full of special events and experiences. First of all, I took up cross-country skiing again (an important activity to practice in Norway).
I also went to Otta to watch the UKM festival. This is a talent competition without being a competition (maybe hard to get it, but it is really like this)… And, I was really impressed by how talented the youths, whether they were singing, dancing or playing instruments!
Another important moment for me this month was that I officially obtained my Master’s degree! It feels a bit surreal, but I am relieved to have reached this milestone.
We also spent one night at the youth club from 20.00. to 8.00 the morning after. It was a looong night, but a fun one! Thanks to coffee and music, we managed to stay awake!
I also had the chance to work during the Ski World Cup final in Kvitfjell. But to be honest, I was glad to be there mostly to see the Swiss athletes win!
Finally, we had an Erasmus+ week, named «Rural democracy» together with youths from Croatia and Iceland, living also in a rural context. The week was full of activities connected to Norwegian culture and nature and the youth place in the democracy. It was a great opportunity for the youth to meet new people and new cultures and share their own Norwegian traditions.
So yes… maybe that explains why March went by so fast!
Ha det bra!
Antonie
