I am Sarah, 22 years old and the new volunteer in Vinstra 😊
I was born and raised in Switzerland, near Lausanne, and recently got my sociology Bachelor. I decided to take a gap year and the EVS program seemed perfect to learn new skills and discover the world. I chose this EVS because the youth projects around Ung I Midtdalen really motivated me and I truly wanted to visit Norway.
I will get to work in two different youth houses (in Vinstra and Ringebu). I will also be a language assistant during French class in the secondary school and in the high school in Vinstra. Languages have always been important in my life, and I am looking forward to sharing my language and my culture with the youth here. I will soon start my Norwegian intensive lessons, so I get to communicate with my peers in their language.
I am passionate about art, music in particular as I sing in a band ! I hope I will get to share this pastime with the young people I will meet. Always down for some cool activities as painting, playing pool or bouldering.
